INSTRUCTIONS

Open all cartons to insure packages are complete and parts are not damaged.

  1. Pull flex cable out from curved end of aluminum wand approximately 3 inches.
  2. Slide cable into pruner head. Turn blade until it catches cable.
  3. Push wand onto pruner head until it stops.
  4. Use Phillips head screwdriver and 3/8" wrench to tighten head on wand.
  5. Loosen trigger section with Phillips screwdriver. Turn clockwise until it is directly opposite grease fitting.
  6. Use Phillips screwdriver to tighten trigger section.
  7. Put motor on wand. Turn motor back and forth slowly while pushing onto aluminum wand. Motor should go on wand until it comes to a black line marking correct position.
  8. When in correct position on wand, rotate motor so the gas tank lies flat on ground or work surface.
  9. Slide throttle cable into brass idle bolt. Slide section of cable that has two nuts on it into throttle assembly holder. Tighten with 10 MM wrench.
  10. Tighten motor onto wand with 5/16" wrench.
  11. Head should be positioned so that CAUTION label is facing motor.
